From Saturday, January 11th to Sunday, February 2nd, LEGOLAND
Discovery Centres around
the globe will open their doors to young aspiring builders. At the Birmingham and Manchester locations, children can enter the free competition to showcase their building skills.
Participants are invited to demonstrate their imagination and creativity by constructing something extraordinary that will leave the judges in awe. Judges are particularly interested in an array of building techniques and a strong creative flare, so entrants should think outside the box and let their personality and interests shine through. To provide inspiration, the 2024 winner utilised various building techniques and a diverse range of pieces to create a detailed butterfly. In contrast, a previous year's winner incorporated an interactive feature - a TV with a rotating screen that allowed viewers to change the channel.
Finalists will be chosen by the LEGOLAND Master Model Builders and Playmakers. Each Discovery Centre will then crown its own Mini Master Model Builder. The Mini Master Model Builder of Birmingham and Manchester will even have the unique opportunity of having their creation displayed at the iconic LEGO
of £100 to spend in the LEGOLAND Local Annual Pass for them and their family.
