park features an immersive theatre experience themed around Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty, combining VR with motion systems and environmental effects including scent, wind and sound, alongside live performers. Other attractions use digital tools to recreate
scenes from series such as To the Wonder and Love Between Fairy and Devil. Live stage shows inspired by titles including Mysterious Lotus Casebook blend LED screens, projection, rotating stages and actors. Visitors can also explore themed photo locations based on iQIYI productions including The Knockout, To the Wonder and Northward, with additional offerings ranging from character encounters and multiplayer game areas to branded food, drink and retail. iQIYI has signalled further ambitions for the
concept. The company announced in December that a fourth iQIYI Land is planned for Hangzhou, with additional parks in development for Kaifeng and Beijing.
The Overland Park venue will include modern bowling lanes and indoor bocce ball courts, which the company said are designed to provide a relaxed but competitive option suited to social occasions and corporate events. The operator said a key attraction at the centre will be Verse, an immersive augmented reality experience that combines physical activity with digital technology. In addition to its entertainment facilities, the site will feature catering services and private event spaces. The company said this functions, team celebrations, birthday parties and community events.
