KIRTON PRIMARY SCHOOL Creative School of the Year
Kirton Primary School faces unique challenges, located in an area of high deprivation, where 25% of our children have English as an additional language and where almost 30% of our children have special educational needs. Unique challenges require unique solutions, and we have had to be creative in our unrelenting determination to secure the best for our children. Being recognised for our tenacious creativity has been the icing on the cake for our school.

No Headteacher exists in a vacuum and no Headteacher is better than the sum of their school staff. It continues to be a privilege and an honour to lead Kirton Primary School where truly amazing people come both to teach and to be taught. To be finalists across three separate categories on the night felt like privilege enough; to win all three categories has been incredible.
