PROMETHEAN Launches ActivPanel Elements Series G
lobal education technology provider, Promethean®, launched the brand new ActivPanel® Elements Series in September 2019. Using over 20
years of experience working with the education sector, Promethean has developed this latest version of the award-winning ActivPanel® with an emphasis on ease of use to make teaching and learning with tech even easier. Educators are increasingly time pressured; workloads are on the rise and
budgets are stretched. Being close to education, Promethean has recognised that it is more important than ever before that edtech solutions alleviate some of the challenges teachers face and offer more flexibility. Promethean has worked alongside teachers to design and develop an ActivPanel that facilitates seamless navigation, enhanced interactivity and connectivity, and instant access to teaching resources. The ActivPanel Elements Series features Promethean’s exclusive Vellum™
writing technology which provides users with a writing experience as natural as putting pen to paper. This is particularly notable on the latest version of the Promethean Instant Whiteboard App which has an infinite canvas and an array of teaching tools and templates to complement teaching. The all new Unified Menu makes access to the most commonly used tools
quick and easy, allowing teachers to seamlessly navigate and support learning in the moment. Teachers also benefit from the Promethean Locker, the single ‘go to’ place for their favourite apps. Powered by an Android™ 8 device, there is access to an abundance of
educational apps through the app store as well as pre-loaded essentials on the ActivPanel such as a spinner, timer and annotation tools. Teachers are also supplied with award-winning lesson delivery software ActivInspire® and cloud based ClassFlow® as standard with the ActivPanel Elements Series. The ActivPanel can be used in collaboration with a range of classroom
devices such as tablets and laptops for functionality such as device mirroring or activities such as quizzes that require class participation. Alistair Hayward, Promethean Head of UKI and ANZ Markets said: “As a brand synonymous with education, Promethean strives to create hardware

and software solutions that champion teaching and learning, and this is what has led us to achieve market leadership. From our daily interactions with educators we are acutely aware of the pressures they face, and therefore the collective involvement of teachers, ICT managers and school leaders in the design process of the ActivPanel Elements Series was integral. With the input of educators, we have been able to create the best ActivPanel yet, that will allow educators to be even more dynamic in their roles.” The ActivPanel Elements Series has been carefully designed to address the
requirements of educators with a range of solutions available for varying classroom environments.
