SCHOOL SUPPLIERS

Resources to make school life easier

I

n our first feature this month, Education Today is delighted to showcase a

selection of the suppliers who we have worked with over the past academic year. As we come out of lockdown in preparation for schools returning in September, it is vitally important to ensure that your budgets are spent on suppliers you can trust. Every month in the magazine we highlight

two companies who are members of BESA, the trade body for school suppliers, but in this feature we’ve gone further, in the expectation that you’ll see something of interest which will prompt you to take the plunge. Across the following pages then, you’ll find a range of suppliers catering to the many and

diverse needs of the modern school. The summer break is typically a time for major school estate upgrades, and if you’re in the market for upgrading the floors in your school, then look no further than Junckers, Europe’s leading manufacturer of solid wood flooring. All the company’s wood floors and wood-care products are produced in Denmark and are therefore developed based on the solid traditions of Danish craftsmanship. Another area of your school you may wish

to improve is its air quality - with poor air quality being in the news daily as a growing concern, and indoor spaces being up to five times more polluted than the air outside, Vybra’s range of air treatment products could well be just what you need.

Rounding out the school estate theme, good

estates management in schools, colleges and universities helps provide safe and effective learning environments. Altuity’s software helps school business managers and leaders, bursars, facilities managers and estates staff proactively manage education buildings and estates. Of course, the above is just a taster of

what’s on offer across the following pages, with lots of other suppliers offering a range of products and services – we hope very much you’ll find something of interest, either to solve a problem you were struggling to address, or to make your school life just that little bit easier!
