Is this the start of the completely virtual school?

Certainly not! Schools are places where we can learn socially as much as from textbooks - there will always be the need for face-to-face teacher-pupil and pupil-pupil interactions. I do see, however, that those schools which take up technology now will have huge advantages when we return to normal teaching post-Coronavirus.

Imagine we put the webcam at the back of the classroom and record each lesson. This lesson (along with lesson plan presentations, videos and homework etc.) can be added to each pupil’s online learning portfolio to be accessed at any time.

Suddenly we have an on-demand learning experience - hey presto, you’ve turned your school into Netflix! Wouldn’t that be cool?

Free Consultation - book a session today

With schools closed, now is a great time for school leaders to consider how they can run a timetable of learning online.

Online lessons recorded on a Netflix style interface

And finally, tell us a little about what your business does in online learning?

We have a complete education management system part of which - Open eLMS Live - does precisely what I have just described - ties disparate systems together thereby allowing you to run your learning programmes online in a single system.

We are offering it free with no obligations to schools till the end of term; we are passionate about education in this country and are here to help in any way we can.

Our Open eLMS Live system is currently being offered free till end of School Year to schools and colleges during the pandemic. We are confident that the benefits you will experience with our learning platform now will continue when schools reopen. It will also enable you to create a plan of action should a shutdown be necessary in the future.

During the 30 minute consultation, we will show:

• How to set a timetable for each teacher • How to add lesson plans to the timetable (including any online learning resources)

• How to run lessons remotely and track attendance • How to set and track homework linked to that lesson
