FOCUS ON DISTRIBUTORS Shaun Corcoran

2025: A Year of Momentum and Market Share Growth for Harrison Bathrooms

Harrison Bathrooms’ Commercial Director, Shaun Corcoran, reflects on a standout year for the business and its Scudo brand.

025 was another excellent year for Harrison Bathrooms and for the Scudo brand. We continued to improve across all areas of the business while gaining further market share in what has been a challenging trading environment. A major highlight came in September, when we reached a significant milestone by achieving more than £5 million in sales in a single month. We then went on to exceed that figure again in both October and November, finishing the year on a real high.

Our success is built on having one of the most robust supply chains in the industry, combined with excellent product quality and strong commercial pricing. Retailers choose our products time and time again because they trust our availability, consistency, and value, and that repeat confidence has been a huge driver of growth for us.

Alongside our product portfolio, we continued to invest heavily in our infrastructure at a time when many competitors were cutting costs. In 2025, Scudo underwent a full rebrand to become a more aspirational bathroom brand, which was extremely well received by customers and helped attract new business. We also became a Virtual Worlds partner, delivered one of the largest bathroom stands at Installer Show, invested in a new fleet of delivery vehicles, and introduced innovative warehouse equipment to support and improve our day-to-day operations.

2025 objectives

Our core objective was to continue growing the Scudo brand while developing products based on customer feedback and data-driven decision- making. Stock availability has been a key focus for us, and we have deliberately maintained high stock levels to support retailers. Our current stock holding stands at £8 million, ensuring continuity of supply for critical bathroom components; for example, we currently have over 10,000 shower trays in stock. That level of availability is key for retailers, and it’s something we can deliver consistently month in, month out. Product development is another major priority. Harrison Bathrooms is built on more than 100 years of family legacy, with three generations of knowledge and expertise shaping our product

portfolio. Our aim is always to deliver expertly designed products at accessible price points, giving customers confidence in both quality and value, while also bringing something new to the market that responds to the latest trends, finishes, and innovations.

2026 ambitions

Late spring will see the launch of the new Scudo Edition 22 brochure, which introduces several exciting additions to the range, including coloured baths and basins, walnut finishes in furniture, and further expansion of our best-selling Colour range. The first launch of the year will be the new KOGE kitchen tap range, featuring an improved design alongside a dedicated brochure to support retailers in their showroom displays. To support our product launches in 2026, there will be a strong focus on POS availability, ensuring retailers are equipped with physical showroom displays as well as digital assets, enabling them to easily promote new products both in-store and online. Alongside these launches, we continue to closely monitor emerging trends, as homeowners increasingly seek products that enable bespoke design and greater self-expression across both the bathroom and kitchen.

After achieving a £5 million sales month, our focus is on building on that success and maintaining a strong sales growth trajectory throughout 2026. Supported by the launch of our

new brochure, another strong presence at Installer Show, and a number of planned sales initiatives across the year, we are confident that another successful year is achievable. Alongside growth, a key ambition will be to retain our high on-time and in-full delivery performance, ensuring a consistently smooth and reliable service for our customers as sales volumes continue to increase.

Sustainability

Sustainability is an ongoing focus and is discussed at board level to ensure it is embedded in our decision-making. During 2025, we made significant progress on packaging improvements across our ranges, including removing plastic packaging wherever possible and ensuring that unavoidable plastics are recyclable. This will remain a continuous improvement project throughout 2026.

Sustainability is also a key consideration in all new product development, particularly when selecting energy- and water-efficient components, such as within our brassware ranges. Looking ahead to 2026, we will be launching UK- manufactured gel-coat shower trays. Made with 30% recycled materials, and by bringing production to the UK from overseas, this will significantly reduce our carbon footprint due to the high monthly volume of shower trays we supply to the industry.
