Supply Chain Manager, brings a wealth of knowledge to the Abode family with a passion for home improvements and extensive experience in international supply chain management. Her career began as a Customer Service Advisor for the German and French markets when she first moved to the UK, then she joined a Operational Management Trainee program with Fellowes, a global company specialising in office products, which included running a warehouse in the Netherlands and learning Dutch in just two weeks! Eva worked her way up the ladder from roles at a software company as

Business Operational Supervisor to Operations & Supply Chain Manager at Storopack, a protective packaging manufacturer. Working closely with senior leadership teams to implement KPIs and create shorter lead times, Eva progressed as European Operation Manager and Group Supply Chain Director, leading both Purchasing Teams and European Warehouse managers at SALUS Controls, renowned for its smart home technology. Eva-Maria says, “The brand values at Abode perfectly align with my own,


so I look forward to contributing my skills to future projects and collaboration so we can progress together, in a healthy and sustainable way. He was previously Product Manager at Wirquin, and Assistant Product Category Manager at City Plumbing which gave him valuable insights into customer and supplier perspectives. This wide-ranging background gives him the “big-picture” mindset which the Abode family values and always seeks to nurture. Ian says, “The quality and innovation of Abode’s product ranges and I’m excited


to be working with products, which are on the specialist side of home improvement with designer solutions for both kitchen and bathroom. Unified Water Label Association announces new CEO and future plans at ISH


Water, which will be held in Frankfurt from 17 to 23 March 2025. The UWLA will be at Stand 4.1 FOY18 with its partner the European

Association for the Taps and Valves Industry (CEIR) and is hosting a presentation on Tuesday 18 March for EU commissioners, partners, members, press and other interested parties. The presentation will celebrate the achievements of the Unified Water


Label and announce the appointment of a new CEO. Current UWLA CEO Yvonne Orgill says, “2025 is a pivotal year for the


Unified Water Label. We have much to celebrate when reviewing our achievements and looking forward to the future. “We have exciting news on the scheme review to share, as well as


introducing the new CEO who will bring a fresh approach and spearhead future growth. “Working with industry, the Unified Water Label has influenced the


development of innovative products and is pushing boundaries to reflect market transition. Together with our members, partners and supporters, we are taking the lead, being proactive today, in order to protect the water supply for future generations. “Governments across Europe have signalled their intention to address


climate change and energy efficiency, and we are delighted that the Unified Water Label is being adopted in more and more countries, as well as being recognised within the ISO 31600 Water Label Standard and as the water metric for many initiatives going forward.” The UWLA presentation is open to all ISH attendees, visit the website for details or email Vikki Hollins.

The Water Label is now recognised around the world as a global platform within the ISO 31600 Water Label Standard and as the water metric for many initiatives going forward.
