The overarching theme for 2025 is “Prevention Is Better Than Cure”, with the event presented as an opportunity for healthcare professionals from the NHS, government, industry and academia to come together to share lessons learned and build collective understanding of how to deliver a world-class healthcare service for patients. In advance of the event, the organisers

are working with speakers to identify and collate key insights into a Healthcare Estates “Prevention is Better than Cure” Digest – featuring submissions from selected speakers sharing key insights and lessons from their presentations – which is made available to all attendees of Day 2 of the event. Free Exhibition entry with access to Keynotes, Theatres and Networking The Healthcare Estates Exhibition is free-to-attend and is the UK’s most comprehensive showcase of products, equipment and services for healthcare estates and facilities. The exhibition is ideal for discovering solutions, connecting with decision- makers, and shaping future strategies. There is a record number of exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge solutions across products, services, and equipment, from planning and construction to energy, smart tech, infection control and representation from NHS England. The exhibition integrates with the

broader programme of content which offers a multi-stream programme on themes like strategic planning, digital innovation, compliance, and medical engineering. Exhibition Visitors can

This provides all attendees with the opportunity to hear key updates from sector leaders, update their knowledge, and interact with speakers and fellow attendees on subjects important to effective delivery in their role. The event’s closing Keynote session on 22 October will bring attendees together with healthcare leaders and subject-matter experts to share and discuss key takeaways on “Prevention is Better than Cure”. Entitled “Where Do We Go From Here?”, this closing session will offer thought- provoking outcomes, key sector leader interaction and peer networking as well as a chance to take refreshment in readiness for the journey back to the workplace. There will also be celebration with the awarding of the IHEEM Branch Members Awards – celebrating leadership, innovation, and community across IHEEM’s UK branches – and the “Best Stand” Awards from the 2025 exhibition. Premium Conference Content Taking place in dedicated Conference Rooms at Manchester Central, the Healthcare Estates Conference programme offers over 25 hours of additional premium content specially selected by the IHEEM Conference Committee. Delegates have an enhanced opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, debate the

latest thinking with like-minded attendees, and return to their organisations with actionable insight. Conference sessions are exclusively

available to attendees who have booked a Conference Delegate Pass, and the programme features a mix of presentations, panels and interactive workshops to encourage discussion and emphasise practical takeaways. The Healthcare Estates Awards Gala Dinner The Annual Gala Dinner highlights outstanding achievement across key areas of estates management and engineering, including categories for New Build, Product Innovation, Staff Wellbeing, and Sustainability.
