Rocket Door Frames: Stylish Pocket and Ultra Flush Doors
Rocket Door Frames has developed a range of innovative and easy-to-install door systems that bring fresh design concepts to life using the latest technology. Their core product range includes: Sliding Pocket Door Frame – a space-saving solution designed to maximise floor area; Concealed Ultra-Flush Door and Frame – a minimalist system without the traditional architrave surround, creating seamless, contemporary interiors; and the Satin Glass Pocket Door Kit – featuring an elegant 8mm satin glass door, complete with a soft-close mechanism and a jamb lining kit for a refined finish. Each of these options delivers a striking design impact compared to traditional doors and provides practical, stylish solutions for both the construction industry and home DIY projects...
Ultra Flush Doors The ultra-flush door design continues to grow in popularity, as it allows wall murals, paint effects, or wallpaper to remain uninterrupted.
A key element of the Rocket ULTRA
system is its simplicity of installation. The kit requires only four screws to assemble the frame and is compatible with standard 44mm flush panel doors. Constructed from extruded aluminium, the framework incorporates ‘hooked’ edge profiles for plaster retention. Each frame can be installed as push or pull, left- or right- opening, offering both structural and visual versatility.
All Rocket ULTRA systems are supplied pre-
routed with a magnetic lock and strike plate, which can be specified as a latch, bathroom thumb turn, or cylinder lock. Completely invisible three-way adjustable hinges ensure perfect shut lines. The doors are supplied primed and ready for decorating.
New to 2025: a magnetic touch latch that allows handleless operation, with finishes such as satin chrome or matt black.
Space-Saving Pocket Doors Pocket doors improve accessibility by sliding effortlessly along a hidden stainless-steel track within the framework. They maximise functional areas such as closets, pantries, or utility rooms. When closed, the doors integrate seamlessly into the surrounding wall, creating a clean and uncluttered look.
Installed between living areas, such as a lounge and dining room, pocket doors are both practical and visually striking, particularly when used as double doors. The system’s flexibility allows two single kits to be attached together without requiring a specific product for wider openings. Rocket Door Frames offers kits for three different stud work dimensions, allowing users to choose a door style that best complements their space. Even in cases of solid walls, a false wall can be created along the existing one without the need for brickwork alterations.
Creating More Space and Limiting Obstructions Pocket doors eliminate the need for a traditional door arc, offering greater flexibility in room layouts. In some cases, they can recover up to 10% of floor space, making them particularly valuable in smaller areas.
