Anyone who works in the supply chain of the built environment can be in no doubt that the pressure is on to reduce both energy and carbon in buildings. Whether it is legislation in the shape of the Future Homes Standard, driving decisions on the removal of fossil fuels, or the requirements of building owners to reduce carbon (both embodied and operational) for their ESG reporting, ‘making buildings better’ is an imperative, not a luxury. Our show, elementalLONDON, aims
to tackle these issues by bringing the buildings industry together to focus on practical solutions, highlighting the realities on the ground for those who design and build; for those who own and operate the buildings; and for those who supply and install the technology that makes life more comfortable, productive, occupants.
