a particular sector,” said Emma. “For example, those working in healthcare and social care settings must prioritise people’s safety, mobility and dignity while also adhering to important health and safety regulations. “We have been so impressed by the track record of the
companies that applied to the framework – we know this future work will be in good hands. They are also a good match for our constant focus on creating jobs and training opportunities, to the area they will operate in.” The two original lots in the invitation to tender (ITT),

The government’s housing minister and the MP for Greenwich and Woolwich, Matthew Pennycook, has reiterated his support for the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s regeneration work and housing delivery following a visit to Woolwich Estates. The local MP joined Cabinet Member for Planning, Estate
Renewal and Development, Cllr Majid Rahman, to look at the transformation of the former Connaught, Morris Walk, and Maryon Grove estates. The regeneration of the three estates – now collectively
new homes. Over half are affordable and 700 are for social rent, including 241 council homes.
