At ISM Ingredients 2026, GNT presented functional fruit gum concepts that show how manufacturers can use natural colour to tap into top trends. The concepts each featured in-demand ingredients as well as EXBERRY® colours made from non-GMO fruit, vegetables and plants. Developed by GNT’s colour trend experts,
they used bold, energetic and saturated tones to create joy and express the sweetness, freshness and tropical vibrancy of on-trend Southeast Asian flavours.

RELAX CONCEPT Flavour: Plum Functional ingredient: Ashwagandha Shade: Deep purple Colour label declaration (UK/EU): Carrot and blueberry concentrates This plum-flavoured gum contains ashwagandha, a traditional Ayurvedic herb used for centuries in India to support stress relief and mental resilience. Its deep purple shade reflects the richness of the ripe fruit – a symbol of abundance, depth, and inner strength.
