n November I had the amazing opportunity to fly to Germany to attend Electronica 2024 in Munich. Te city is home to numerous tech companies that gave me a fascinating glimpse into cutting-edge technology and innovation showcasing


advances in semiconductors, automation and consumer electronics. Attending events and exhibitions like Electronica provides valuable insights into the latest trends shaping the future of electronics worldwide. A real highlight for me was being invited by ITECH Electronics,


a global leader in power electronics testing solutions, to speak with Sharon, Regional Manager at ITECH, who shared insights into the company's core business. We discuss ITECH's success in a highly competitive industry, their innovative technologies and their commitment to customer satisfaction. Sharon also highlights the company's strong research and development efforts, quality control processes and resilience in navigating global challenges like the semiconductor shortage, all while looking ahead to future innovations.


Casey: Let’s begin by introducing ITECH Electronics. Can you tell me a bit about its core business? Sharon: Absolutely. ITECH Electronics is a leading global provider of power electronics testing solutions. Our core business revolves around designing and manufacturing programmable power supplies, electronic loads and related testing instruments. We cater to a wide range of industries, including renewable energy and energy storage,

electric vehicles and automotive electronics, industrial electronics, semiconductors, commercial aviation, 5G, IoT and so on, with a strong focus on delivering high-performance testing solutions for our customers worldwide.


Casey: What is the key to ITECH Electronics' success in such a competitive industry? Sharon: I think the most important part is that we focus on innovations and customer satisfaction. Tis year, we’ve brought out some really exciting innovations. We’ve pushed the limits, achieving the industry’s leading power density, 42kW in just 3U units. We’ve increased the maximum output power to over 10MW, and raised the current to over 10,000 A level, all to meet the higher testing demands of our customers. If you look at our products, we have more than 1000 models we can offer the market. We also like to keep a very close relationship with our partner/


customers so we can tailor our solutions according to their evolving testing demands. Our products must be very competitive to help our customers to break the technology boundaries.


Casey: Could you share more about your breakthrough technologies and products? Sharon: Of course, we are working with a very complex market, with very high and complex requirements, but ITECH is very innovative, we have an amazing team and always bring us many surprises every year.
