EVENT PREVIEW: IGB L!VE 2025


You have announced a number of initiatives for July including the first iGB Affiliate Manager Academy that has a sharp focus on AI. Can you outline both the content and the objectives?


The training and mentorship program which will be held on 1 July as part of London iGaming Week is being curated in partnership with Affiverse, founded by veteran affiliate marketer Lee-Ann Johnstone. It has been designed to help organisations of all sizes understand how to leverage new tactics and simple AI tools to recruit, retain and activate affiliates more effectively.


The Academy will offer a mix of practical learning, tactical assessments and personalised coaching providing affiliate managers with an invaluable opportunity to learn from industry leaders. Each unique session will include topical insights drawing on the dominant trends in the market.


To echo the insight provided by Lee-Ann, in an industry that’s constantly evolving, and which is powered by the early adoption of new technologies, businesses and affiliate managers have to keep learning in order to remain competitive. The gap between AI-empowered affiliate managers and those relying solely on traditional methods is widening every month. The iGB Affiliate Manager Academy will provide the bridge to ensure businesses are on the right side of that divide. Our live events are all about delivering real value to our international community of stakeholders. Lee-Ann and her team at Affiverse are spearheading the academy syllabus and content stream alongside iGB’s events production team to provide tailor made training and mentoring for new and existing affiliate managers as well as those who want to learn and scale their affiliate programs faster. The workshop will provide insider access to the exact AI-driven techniques that are assisting brands to deliver real results. Most significantly this isn’t just theory – instead it’s a hands-on expert-led roadmap focussing on immediately implementable tactics that will transform your program performance.


How will the Startup Summit – another new feature for iGB L!VE 2025 – contribute to the future prosperity of the industry? The Summit represents a must attend for start-up businesses and will facilitate invaluable introductions to top-tier venture capital, private equity and institutional investors. Curated in partnership with Defy the Odds, a specialist start-up accelerator founded by Kelly Kehn, Paris Smith, and Sue Schneider, it will feature private networking, roundtable discussions, panels and fireside chats providing the leaders of early-stage businesses with the insights and connections to help take their enterprises from concept to execution.


We know from working with the start-up community that new businesses struggle with securing funding, meeting mentors and entering the industry. We have created a stunning new waterfront social and business networking feature which will be a pivotal part of the iGB L!VE experience. Situated adjacent to the historic Royal Docks, the London Waterfront Experience will involve an iGB L!VE takeover of the Street Kitchen and Bar part of ExCeL’s


‘Immerse LDN’ Dock Edge entertainment district. It will include a series of entertainment activations including a centrepiece barge which will be moored at the edge of the dock. With London’s July temperatures reaching the mid-twenties, the Waterfront Experience will serve as a dynamic networking and social space. Open throughout the show it will provide a vibrant London-inspired ‘twist’ on the social and business opportunities that the industry loves about iGB L!VE. The feature will help deliver another world-class event whilst retaining the DNA of the event – that’s so important to us, to ensure that people can enjoy the event experience and feel connected to their community both businesswise and socially – and have some fun!
