ADVANCED FACTORIES AND PICK&PACK, TWO SPANISH TRADE FAIRS TO INNOVATE IN THE MANUFACTURING, LOGISTICS AND PACKAGING INDUSTRIES

pril offers great opportunities for the industry sector to innovate, as the country prepares to host two of the most significant trade fairs for the sector. Advanced Factories and Pick&Pack are expected to gather professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners from all over the world who are eager to discover the latest trends and innovations in automation, robotics, artificial intelligence and many other technologies for the logistics, packaging and manufacturing industries. Both tradeshows will provide a platform for exhibitors to showcase their products and services, as well as a conference in which learn about emerging technologies and best practices from leading experts from these industries.
On one hand, the industrial sector is experiencing a profound transformation and modernization, with the implementation of automation and industrial robotics in production plants. In this context, from April 18 to 20, Advanced Factories will bring together at Fira Barcelona - Gran Via more than 20,000 industry professionals to discover the latest solutions and innovations in automation, robotics, additive manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, machine vision, digital twin, data analytics, cybersecurity, 5G, IIoT, industrial cloud, machine learning, integrated production systems, energy efficiency solutions and all 4.0 technologies associated with “digital manufacturing”, from over 380 exhibiting firms.
“The industrial sector is in a moment of profound transformation and modernization, based on automation and digitization for better competitiveness of industrial plants and less impact on the environment,” says Victor Blanc, Event Manager of Advanced Factories. On the other hand, Pick&Pack will gather more than 6,000 professionals that are looking for solutions in packaging and logistics. From April 25 to 27, more than 180 exhibiting companies will present at IFEMA Madrid, the latest solutions in logistics robotics, transportation, traceability, supply chain, labeling and coding, packaging and materials for packaging, and smart packaging; in addition to technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, IIoT or Data Analytics, among others.
“The growth that logistics is having worldwide, with the consequent change of model towards the digital environment and the emergence of new professional profiles, induces that companies in all sectors have to adapt to this new reality. In the same way, the direct relationship between logistics and packaging means that packaging also must adjust to the current situation and demand,” says Marina Uceda, Event Manager of Pick&Pack. “Pick&Pack 2023 is the only event that unites logistics and packaging in the same space to show the latest generation of solutions for both industries”, adds Uceda.
With the purpose of creating a leading meeting place in the field of logistics and packaging, Pick&Pack brings together professionals from the food, beverage, retail, pharma, electronics, automotive, beauty and cosmetics industries, among others, to discover the latest innovations in the planning, execution, and control of products, as well as the packaging industry. In addition, Advanced Factories and Pick&Pack will feature a series of conferences, workshops and roundtables, where attendees can engage with experts, exchange ideas and learn about emerging trends and technologies. For three days, 380 experts will share in Advanced Factories success stories of the application of Industry 4.0 solutions in production plants, as well as future trends that will improve the competitiveness of the sector. Moreover, Pick&Pack will gather four conferences to discuss new trends and delve into the latest technologies, solutions, and services in the field of logistics and packaging.
