HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH NEW GENERATION OF 1-2 TONNE MINI EXCAVATORS
The Doosan Bobcat headquarters for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in Dobris, close to Prague in the Czech Republic, again played host to a successful Bobcat Demo Days event from 26 May to 4 June 2025.
This system uses a load-sensing pump bundled with a closed center/flow-sharing main control valve. All of this is powered by a new engine, creating an engineering setup that is exceptionally sophisticated for
compact machines of this size. Like in larger machines, the new hydraulic
system in the new 1-2 tonne mini excavators allows the operator to smoothly carry out multiple functions simultaneously. When working with equipment that requires a lot of hydraulic power, such as a flail mower on a quick coupler running at full speed, the operator can drive, slew and lift smoothly at the same time.
TOP-OF-THE-RANGE E88 MINI EXCAVATOR Bobcat also showcased an enhanced version of the top-of-the-range E88 R2-Series mini excavator. This 9-tonne machine offers enhanced operator comfort, an improved comfort results from the use of the Fritzmeier cab, offering improved window and windscreen open and close access, reduced noise and vibrations, and additional standard features and options. The E88 delivers outstanding performance from a compact dimension machine and excellent stability with high digging output.
