MITEK TO SHOWCASE MEZZANINE KNOW-HOW AT IMHX

ezzanine company MiTek is looking forward to exhibiting at IMHX once again. The UK’s number 1 mezzanine supplier – as judged by industry analyst, Plimsoll – MiTek has over 35 years’ experience from the delivery of more than 10,000 mezzanine projects worldwide. MiTek will exhibit on stand 5AM20, which forms part of the AMHSA Pavilion in hall 5. “We’re proud to be members of the Automated Material Handling Systems Association,” commented Matt Loveday, Managing Director, Mezzanine Systems. “Robotic and automation technologies bring special demands for mezzanine solutions and MiTek has a reputation for their successful integration.” MiTek has a proven track record in helping companies of all sizes to secure competitive advantage through optimising their space utilisation with custom-engineered mezzanine structures. “Although, as the only global mezzanine company, we often work on very large
projects for multinational clients, we can also help growing SMEs to future-proof their operations,” says Matt Loveday. The mezzanine supplier has just completed the final step in its brand evolution following acquisition by the global MiTek® group (part of Berkshire Hathaway) in 2017. Formerly MiTek Mezzanine Systems, the firm has been merged into MiTek Inc’s UK operation and is now known simply as ‘MiTek’. “It’s more of an administrative change,” explains Matt Loveday, “and it’s very much business as usual.”
Driven by the trend to automate production and distribution, MiTek continues to enjoy a high number of enquiries for mezzanines. The company notched up a record month in May, with its largest ever single month of revenue, and is set to retain its position as the UK’s number 1 mezzanine supplier for the seventh consecutive year. The firm has recently invested in a number of new employees in

design, project management and site management. “We’ve hired 25% more staff over the past six months,” says Matt Loveday. “These are customer- facing employees to help us deliver our solutions even faster for clients, because we understand that speed to market is key for many of them.”
