We’re going extra live in 2025!

There are a lot of exciting developments being discussed and taking shape in the DIY Week office at the moment. We are deep into the planning and organisation of this year’s DIY Week Awards, with the entries already coming in thick and fast. In fact, if you’ve been thinking about entering your latest product in the supplier category or your business in the retailer category, don’t hang about, now is the time to do it. You’ll find plenty of information about the awards in this issue, as well as the people with the unenviable task of judging the entries and choosing the winners. Full details about the various categories and how to enter can also be found online at www.diyweekawards.co.uk, but if you have any queries or need help with your entry, please

contact me or a member of the team and we’ll be only too happy to help. The awards presentation luncheon event itself will take place on Friday 23rd May at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, London. To make the day even better and attendance even more invaluable for industry professionals, we’ve added an extra element to the event in the form of a morning conference. Called ‘Trade Talk’, this special event will provide you with the chance to hear from DIY and home improvement retail leaders that have been there and done it, so they can walk the walk and talk the talk. More details about our guest speakers and the topics they intend to present and discuss with the audience will be released soon, but I can tell you it’s already shaping up to be an event not to be missed. The third element to our events programme this year is DIY Week Live! Scheduled for 21st and 22nd October at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham, this focused DIY trade show is attracting a lot of attention and interest, with new exhibitors and sponsors signing up all the time. Find out more online at www.diyweeklive.co.uk and inside this issue.
