SHURTAPE UK is adding to its world-leading portfolio of adhesive tapes, by launching Kip Washi- Tec Tape to the UK professional painters’ trade market. The Kip Washi-Tec Tape comes in
three variants: Premium, Wallpaper and Outdoor. Uniquely crafted using authentic Jinzokei fibres which are produced exclusively in Japan, they use a high-quality acrylic adhesive with greater resistance to water and moisture. The tapes leave no residue and work across several surfaces, making them ideal for tradespeople looking for an effective, proven Washi tape that delivers high quality end results with razor sharp paint lines. Jason Burns, MD at Shurtape says: “Kip Washi-Tec is a truly genuine Washi tape, thanks to its unique construction using Japanese technology - Washi-Tec represents our continuous development of Washi adhesives. Our new range of tapes are very thin and flexible but
remain strong and tough allowing you to create extremely sharp paint lines without paint bleed. Shurtape UK already has market-leading tapes such as FrogTape Duck Tape and T-Rex in its portfolio. “Adding Kip Tapes means our
professional customers have a complete range of adhesive tapes at their disposal, delivered through a trusted global supplier with proven support strategies.”
Kip is a global leading adhesive tape brand founded in 1959, with products for professional painters, plasterers and the construction industry. It operates across Europe and was acquired by Shurtape in 2000, but this is the first time any of its products have been officially introduced to the UK. The launch will be delivered with a proactive marketing tour to support our trade distribution partners as well as trade events, demonstrations, advertising and PR. n
