that UK homeowners are takin g everything outside, from tables, benches, grills, heaters, lighting; to a bar and the kitchen sink. Consumers are transforming outdoor areas into practical living spaces.A total of 43% invested in dining furnitur e, while 38% cooked up a storm on their outdoor grills. Benches also feature high on essential outdoor items


Consumers are looking to expand their living area and renova te their outside space. Kiran Grewal speaks to leading retailers about what the customer wants to achieve in their gardens and reports on the findings of a survey conducted by Houzz UK.

renovation reported


spending more than £10,000 (20%), a much lar ger per centage said they upgraded their outdoor space for less than £5,000 (64%), making us a nation of savvy spenders.
