Structural building materials distributor London Lintels has been acquired by Milbank Group, the investment company. Managing director Steve
Barnett will continue in his role at London Lintels, ensuring continuity for both staff and customers.
The company has since unveiled growth plans with the opening of a second site in
Essex. The new site will increase stockholding, expand capacity, and improve delivery times not only across London and the South, but also nationwide.

Travis Perkins Managed Services launches unmanned smart store
Travis Perkins Managed Services (TPMS) has launched TPgo SelfServe, an unmanned store in Stroud.
The store, in Dursley,
Gloucestershire, was developed for Stroud District Council. The hi-tech shipping container uses a smart panel and RFID technology, and operatives are issued with an ID fob with a unique number that allows them to access the container. It will let operatives tap in and collect their building materials.

Founded in Glastonbury in 2004, Tor Multimix, a family- run construction materials supplier, specialises in concrete, aggregates, screed and other products.

City Plumbing launches new solar hubs for easy access to solar essentials
City Plumbing has launched dedicated solar hubs across England and Scotland to help installers get what they need for solar projects. The hubs offer a same-day collection point and a next-day national delivery service.
