The work of the BMF in supporting members has again been recognised in the Association Excellence Awards, with the Federation shortlisted in five categories, including Best Association Team and Overall Best Association (under 1000 members).
Described as a beacon of good practice and innovation, the Association Awards recognise and reward the hard- won achievements of trade bodies, professional membership organisations and associations, highlighting excellence in how they operate and serve their members.
The BMF was also shortlisted for the Best Membership Initiative, Best Learning and Professional Development Programme and Best Leadership of an Association.

BMF Young Achiever
The winners of the BMF’s prestigious Young Achiever of the Year Awards have been revealed, with Jayson Richards from City Plumbing Supplies (pictured right) named as Young Merchant Achiever 2019 and Jade Terry of Naylor Industries (pictured second from left) named as Young Supplier Achiever 2019. Two honourable mentions were made in the Young Merchant Achiever category, with Fergus Bell of Bradfords Building Supplies taking the silver runners-up prize and Zia Islam of Gibbs & Dandy taking the bronze award for third place.
