The new Evolve solid core worksurfaces from Bushboard are made from a 100% solid core laminate which is just 12.5mm
thick.The new surfaces come in a choice of 15 dual-faced, contemporary designs and feature five complementary core colours – white, cream, light grey, dark grey and extra black. The material has a double-sided decor, is exceptionally easy to cut on site and is completely waterproof. The colour core allows features such as routed drainer grooves and crisp machine cut edges that blend and make an easy job of undermount sink installations.

12. Flamco launches XStream in the UK
Flamco has introduced XStream in the UK – a new approach to air and dirt separation.
The new XStream is a huge step forward in prolonging the life of a heating system through a guaranteed reduction in energy consumption and class leading efficiency. XStream is available in three different units – Flamco XStream Vent – an air separator, Flamco XStream Clean – as a dirt separator or as Flamco XStream Vent-Clean which provides both air and dirt separation in one unit.
The XStream is supplied with an integral insulation jacket which ensures heat losses are kept to a minimum.

11. ASSA ABLOY’s two high performance steel door ranges Door Group, a unit of ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions UK & Ireland, has launched two new high performance steel doorsets within its Powershield Security Doorset
range.The new SR3 and SR4 steel door ranges, also known as Torr and Titan, have been
developed from scratch to offer a product compatible with increased frame and ironmongery options. The ranges have been
redeveloped to replace the Glen and Strangford security doors and are certified under LPS1175 Issue 7. With a leaf and frame weight reduction of up to 40% from previous ranges, they are easier to install, handle and lighter to use, making them an ideal choice for a wide range of projects.
