4. Setcrete unveils new look packaging
Setcrete has redesigned the product packaging for its popular range of floor levelling compounds to enhance its ‘on shelf’ impact and simplify product selection for customers. The design of the product packaging has been refreshed and emboldened with distinctive colour coding used to differentiate the products in the range.
Highlighting the key benefits of each product, the new packaging works to facilitate customer selection, making prominent use of both the product name and its primary application to inform the decision-making process.

The strong colour coding of each product also makes visual identification even easier for making repeat purchases. The packaging enables customers to easily differentiate between Setcrete’s Rapid Set 30 - a superfast setting levelling compound, Setcrete Deep Base for raising floor levels up to 50mm, and Setcrete High Performance, which is designed to go over flexible subfloors such as plywood. Other products in the range to feature the new packaging include Setcrete Latex, Setcrete Universal and Setcrete 2K Pro, which can be applied over old adhesive residue. 01538 361 633

3. New generation expansion vessels - Flexcon Premium The Flexcon Premium range benefits from a new plastic membrane, and offers raw materials and energy savings, whilst offering a 15-year guarantee. Flamco has developed the plastic membrane for expansion vessels of 2 to 80 litres. This innovation makes expansion vessels much more sustainable, in terms of environmental performance and durability, while maintaining high quality. After intense research, Flamco decided to replace the rubber membrane with a plastic membrane made of thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO). Tests showed that Flamco - even with the new membrane - does not have to make concessions to its most important quality requirements - high flexibility and low permeability.
