9. Sika Everbuild’s new packaging design Sika Everbuild has introduced a new alternative packaging design for its SikaCeram-621 FlowFix Jointing Compound.
SikaCeram-621 FlowFix Jointing Compound is now available in sturdy 15kg buckets as well as bags, which will be easier for merchants to store and display outside. Trade customers will also benefit as it’ll be easier to transport and, because each bucket contains three separate 5kg sealed pouches, it doesn’t all have to be used at the same time, meaning it’s less wasteful.

10. Kudos’ Pinnacle8 now in matt black Pinnacle8, a shower enclosure collection from Kudos, is now available with a Matt Black profile.
The semi-frameless Pinnacle8 collection is characterised by a minimalist cut out finger pull and easy fit slimline wall profiles with concealed fixings. The black profiled range incorporates hinged and sliding door options to suit recess and corner installations in sizes ranging from 760mm to 1800mm. Standing tall at 2000mm, all options feature 8mm toughened glass treated with Lifeshield, a protective coating to aid cleaning.

11. ROCKWOOL enhances FIREPRO range The new ‘Type X’ silicone sealant is suitable for linear joint seals in walls and floors and for external and internal applications across a range of substrates.
As well as providing up to four hours fire integrity in accordance with BS EN 1366-4:2006, FIREPRO Silicone X has been categorised as Type X in accordance with the applicable European Assessment Document (EAD).
Silicone X is a one-part neutral curing sealant that creates a permanently flexible silicone rubber with a movement capability of ≤ 7.5%. Both CE marked and UL-EU certified, Silicone X is suitable for linear construction joints of up to 60mm and can be used to reinstate the fire resistance of rigid floors and rigid and flexible walls formed by multiple substrates.

12. Allur’s new POS Allur composite decking brand now comes with a free comprehensive point of sale display unit, including a floor standing display and portable sample box. Measuring 1700mm x 750mm x 300mm, it provides a strong visual display for each of Allur’s seven double-sided deck boards, allowing customers to see and touch the reversible grained and grooved sides. The 168mm x 306mm x 40mm
sample box includes a sample of each of the seven board colours. There’s also an eye- catching A5 consumer look-book and trade leaflet.
Allur decking includes 3600mm x 148mm hollow doubled sided boards, fascia boards, corner edging strips, plastic T clips, starter clips and screws. It also offers composite joists in 3000mm x 50mm.
