Industry buzz over new format

In line with feedback that 60% of companies and attendees at previous shows carry out most of their business in the south, the HVAC & Refrigeration Show – the UK’s only dedicated exhibition for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, heating and heat pump sectors – is making its debut appearance at London’s ExCeL from 23-25 January 2018

This year’s show will see the launch of a new sector – refrigerated and chilled food transportation, along with the introduction of larger stand options with restructured prices to allow companies the space they need to bring their products to life. The event will also look to the future of the industry with the series launch of the national skillFRIDGE competition, a three-day series of live debates on key issues presented by a panel of industry figures, a three-day seminar programme with speakers invited from UK and European Associations, including presentations from Institute of Refrigeration and WorldSkills UK and a number of unmissable networking events to be hosted in the Business Hub over the course of the three-day exhibition.

largest exhibition space at the show is packed full of the latest technology on the market. Customers will be able to discover the technological innovations in both air handling unit design and chiller products, as well as see first-hand the high quality product that Daikin Applied UK can supply. Steve Anderson, AHU plant manager at Daikin Applied UK says: “We manufacture in excess of £1million worth of AHU plant in the UK, for the UK market every month and the HVAC show will give us an opportunity to showcase our latest developments such as our thermal break rounded internal corner AHU profile which will be standard across our AHU range. We look forward to welcoming our existing clients as well as reaching out to potential new clients, who we believe will be impressed with our products, quality and the flexibility we can offer.” Parcel Holders is also making its debut

Marking its launch into the HVAC&R sectors, it will introduce its national network pickUp, dropOff points (PUDOs) for service and maintenance engineers out on the road to SMEs on Stand E38. Ed Fraser, managing director, says: “Having dipped a toe in HVAC&R – namely, supermarket refrigeration systems – to great

ECEX MD John Grenville, comments: “We are exhibiting at the HVAC & Refrigeration Show because it is one of the leading shows in its field and it is appropriate that we should represent our products there. We have a concept to sell – the ECEX Air Intake Screen is fast becoming seen as essential retrofitted maintenance, labour and timesaving equipment at low cost with fast payback, but we are focused on raising its profile further.” Johnson Controls is set to demonstrate its

EasyParts online ordering system for YORK chiller spares and will be promoting the newly launched YORK PureOil, a high quality chiller lubricant formulated for use in YORK chillers. Alpesh Trivedi, product manager at Johnsons Controls HVAC parts, commented on the show: “It offers a great opportunity to catch up with the latest developments across the HVACR industry, network with peers, attend interesting technical and legislative seminars, and get hands-on experience of new technology and service developments.” Trivedi continues: “We welcome visitors to our stand to meet the EasyParts team. We will be demonstrating how the EasyParts platform works and explaining the benefits for installers and end users.” With the HVAC & Refrigeration Show 2018 already gaining so much momentum, companies within the HVAC&R sectors are encouraged to book their stands and ensure that they are a part of this much anticipated industry event.
