After thorough investigations, it was decided to replace the external installation with a modern system. The solution called for a new supporting mast and chimney system. Our NOVA® Twin Wall Flue System was installed at an impressive 17m height, replacing an ageing and corroded system. The new installation comprises 3 x 300mm Dia pipes, servicing three 41-year-old Hoval steam boilers, with a customised connection onto a 17m mast. This upgrade ensures safe, reliable operation in the harsh conditions required by steam boilers. SFL’s NOVA® twin wall flue system was specified,
with full technical details calculated to ensure compatibility with the new supporting mast and civil groundworks. The result was the successful installation of a triple
vertical 17m, 300mm Dia NOVA® chimney system and supporting mast. The system now provides the existing Hoval steam boilers with many more years of reliable, efficient service.
