Fieldpiece Instruments is introducing a new vacuum pump for the European market that is lightweight and portable, full of features and competitively priced. The VP55INT is designed for European HVACR professionals who are pulling
vacuum in AC and refrigeration units either prior to adding refrigerant on a new installation or performing a system repair. The VP55INT is a 5cfm pump with an AC motor and dual voltage to easily change from 110 to 230 VAC. A unique feature of the Fieldpiece vacuum pumps is the four in-line ports in three different sizes, allowing for tidy hose routing and hose options. Another feature is the extra wide base to help prevent the pump from tipping and spilling oil. Oil management is important when installing or repairing a system. Since the introduction of the Energy Related Products (ErP) Directive, the need to improve the efficiency of air handling solutions has driven demand for commercial heat recovery units that can fit increasingly tight spaces, budgets and timescales. Each unit comes fully packaged with controls that are compatible with any central BMS system; eCO units come with ISY teq mini controls while more advanced controls come integrated with eQ products. Lindapter
Lindapter has announced the launch of its new English metric catalogue. The 2019 edition has over 100 updates, including new products, more approvals and the latest technical data.
The Type CF2 clamp has been introduced into the catalogue to extend Lindapter’s existing product range and meet market demand. The new Type CF2 additions are High Slip Resistant Clamps designed to suit larger steel sections with thicker flanges. They are available in sizes M12, M16 and M20 with clamping ranges of 12-20mm, 15-25mm and 18-30mm respectively.
Another addition to the catalogue is the Type AMD which offers customers a wider choice of quality products within the Decking Fixing product range. The fixing has been developed to allow building services to be suspended from AMD60 and AMD80 decking profiles manufactured by Anglian Metal Deck. The new CE marked fixing creates genuine efficiencies for the contractor as it is installed within seconds and is adjustable on-site without the requirement of specialist labour, expensive tools or power.
