Welcome back to Converter magazine and our September issue. This month we’ve visited London Packaging Week and PPMA to see both the processes and manufacturers, and the fi nished product that goes to market. There is still some work to be done as EPR and PPWR continue to create challenges but it is also creating new opportunities for innovation. One such innovation was on show at London Packaging Week, Cool>Can provides a ten to 15 degrees Celsius temperature drop in around a minute without ice or refrigeration. I had seen the product online but to get a hands on experience was fascinating and something I hope to see on the shelves in the near future, providing cooler drinks. This issue looks at printing on fl exible packaging and how, as referenced earlier, regulations are impacting how fl exible containers will evolve. As well as also looking at the importance of inspection and quality control and much more. Plenty to get your teeth into then! Enjoy the read.
