+R Group says it’s investing in a continuous development process, with the installation of a new Genesis Air coater in its Innovation &
Technology Centre.
The company says that tomorrow’s production challenges need today’s investment, establishing the manufacturing techniques for cost-effective product development and production solutions. E+R’s Technology Centre give clients and teams the environment to understand how products and processes perform under manufacturing conditions, as well as demonstrating their latest product range developments from its print, coating, vacuum
and forming divisions.
This will shortly include a Genesis Air Pilot Coater, the Gen Air is E+R’s new multifunction coating line for development to small scale production.
The Technology Centre incorporates flexographic and screen-printing systems, vacuum and atmospheric coating systems and automotive tooling, fin and tube forming machinery and is available to access to develop your own coating technology within a production environment.
E+R has invested significantly in the Innovation & Technology Centre to create a demonstration and development facility
which includes the following equipment: • Genesis Roll to Roll Vacuum Coater; • Dixon atmospheric pilot coater; • Genesis Air (new); • Digital Flexographic printing press; • Rotary Screen-printing system; • CS Clean corrosive gas abatement system; • Manufacturing test facilities and subsequent conformance validation equipment;
• Glovebox Experimental Tool – featuring independent zones for magnetron sputtering and induction thermal evaporation;
• Genesis L Vacuum Coater; and • Rotary Die Cutting System.
