NEWS | Industry Updates Busy phase for WHA
Q1 has been a busy and positive period for the Water Dispenser & Hydration Association, with a strong focus on member value, industry leadership and raising awareness of WHA standards. A key highlight was the WHA Spring Conference, held on 19
March at Hogarths Hotel near Solihull, under the theme “Navigating Change. Capturing Opportunity.” The event welcomed attendees from across the UK, Europe and beyond, bringing members, suppliers and industry partners together for a highly successful afternoon of insight, discussion and networking. A bustling supplier stand area added further energy to the day, giving delegates the opportunity to connect with key partners and explore new products and services.
Speakers explored leadership, change, commercial opportunity and the evolving regulatory landscape, helping members consider how to strengthen their businesses while continuing to uphold high standards.
Alongside the conference, Mat Hemming, incoming general manager, and Tracy Corrol, WHA technical lead, have been meeting with industry leaders, procurement specialists and wider stakeholders to ensure the WHA’s message on standards, safety and best practice is understood beyond the membership. These conversations are helping to raise the profile of the Association, support more informed decision-making, and reinforce the importance of choosing audited WHA members.
