Northants Vending services warms to Rustlers out of home solutions

RustleRs MistRal units

As demand for safe, out of home snacking solutions continues to rise, one of the Midlands leading vending companies is looking to Rustlers, suppliers of the UK’s £115.4m microwavable snack brand*1, to help accelerate growth in this key area. Shaun Clements, Managing Director of

Northants Vending Services, has just entered into partnership with Rustlers and sited two of the company’s recently-launched Coffeetek Mistral Units, offering chilled snacks for heating and hot drinks, at Taste Original Foods in Corby, Northants. With over 28 years’ experience in the industry,

and 15 years spent running his own business, Shaun is well placed to identify new and emerging trends – and looking to brands such as Rustlers to help him capitalise on future business development opportunities. The Coffeetek Mistral vending units offer the

latest touchless technology, enabling users safe access to hot food and drink 24 hours a day 7 days a week, via a single contactless selection system. Coffeetek Sales Director Ian Johnston said: “In

the current climate, people are understandably nervous about hygiene and safety in the workplace. At a time when lots of canteen facilities have closed or are operating reduced hours, we’re providing businesses and their employees with the reassurance they need, enabling them to choose their food and drink conveniently and safely from the same unit.”

The machines also features a contactless

payment system, with users able to choose from a range of payment options. “I’m really optimistic about what the future

holds for our partnership with Rustlers,” says Shaun. “The two Mistral units we’ve sited are performing really well and will help to plug a gap in the market. It’s great to work with such a knowledgeable team which is so committed to providing innovative solutions. “Rustlers is a great addition to the vending

industry’s chilled food offering. We’re gradually developing our chilled/frozen products part of the business and leading, quality brands such as Rustlers will only strengthen that offer. “I’m also really pleased by customers’ very positive reaction.” Inevitably, the COVID pandemic has impacted

on Shaun’s plans to roll out the Rustlers branded units, but when ‘normality’ returns Shaun and his eight-strong team are ready to capitalise on the opportunities which Rustlers new vending solution provides. “In the months to come I think there will still be an element of social distancing in the workplace.

The likelihood is that people will be using canteens less, but they will definitely still want easy access to safe, convenient snacking solutions at break and mealtimes,” he comments. Carl Hunter, Kepak Vending’s National Accounts

Manager, says the Coffetek Mistral and combination of Rustlers Branding in partnership with Nebrak offers contactless technology, ease of use and access to hot food and drink from the same unit. This makes it ideal for sites looking to offer a safe, hygienic, round-the-clock vending solution. “Whether it’s people looking to fill the hunger

gap whilst on a short break, or opting for a grab and go snack or meal solution, Rustlers fits the bill, providing a quality offering at any time of the day or night, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year” he says.
