Hobrough, has been promoted to the newly- created role of sales support manager and will be responsible for overall sales team support, as well as managing merchandising requirements alongside the newly-appointed marketing team. Additionally, long-serving assistant operations manager, Kerri Skelton, has been promoted to procurement and logistics manager, with a focus on purchasing, stock control, and UK and international shipping. Two new operators have been added to the production team and two new members have joined the warehousing team to ensure consistent supply and distribution of Azpects products for the year ahead.


Speaking about the restructure, managing director, Paul Taylor, commented: “2020 highlighted the importance of both communication and organisation within the business and David and Kerri worked tirelessly to ensure that, wherever possible, business could continue ‘as usual’ for our customers. “We have always prided ourselves on our strong customer relationships, and this has never been more important than during the recent uncertainty the industry has faced. We are focussed on ensuring customer satisfaction and keeping our promises, and this restructure will enable our account managers to ensure uninterrupted supply of our products.”

Homebase announces plans to open three small format stores in Walton-on-Thames


Home and garden retailer, Homebase, is planning to open of a series of new small format stores in Walton-on-Thames in Spring this year.


The existing Bathstore showroom on New Zealand Avenue will be refreshed to include Kitchens by Homebase, after a successful launch in Guildford earlier this year, combining inspiration and expert advice for those looking

The unit next door will be transformed into DECORATE by Homebase, currently open in Cheadle and Sutton, providing everything customers need to bring their decorating projects to life.


This site will also house Homebase’s first pop-up store.
