Moving and changing W

elcome to the October issue of Electrical Wholesaler!

We’ve got a particularly good set of features for

you this month, ranging from lighting and automation through to ventilation, cable management and EV charging. Our cover story this month is from Timeguard,

providing a closer look at its new addition of an integrated Wi-Fi camera to the LED Pro outdoor lighting range. The new PIR camera system provides a view of what is happening outdoors as well as two-way audio for direct communication with visitors. Take a look on page 10. Elsewhere in the issue, we cover the latest

developments and advice in exterior lighting (24) and emergency lighting (22), with contributions from Ovia and Eco Group respectively. On page 20, meanwhile, Domus Ventilation’s

Paul Williams takes a look at how effective ventilation can help to address indoor air pollutants and their harmful health effects. We received an unusually high number of new

staff appointments to our news desk this month, particularly in sales roles - hopefully a positive

sign for the continued growth of the sector post- pandemic. We’ve noted them in brief in the industry news pages, but for the full story on a particular appointment, do check out our online news, www.ewnews.co.uk. Finally, as always, you can take a look through

our regular news, views, product and installation features from market-leading businesses across the sector. This month, we share a report from amBX on top tech trends within the smart buildings industry (26) and an update from Univolt on the growing demand for cable management products and materials post-pandemic.

Happy reading.
