the principles of good lighting design, a room-by-room guide, and suggestions on how to create the right atmosphere in diff erent spaces. It covers how to balance ambient, task and accent lighting, the eff ect of diff erent correlated colour temperatures, how and when to use diff erent beam angles and when to think about the colour rendering index of a fi tting.
