VCHRGD partners Medlocks Electrical Distributors for EV charging
VCHRGD has become an EV charging partner for Medlocks Electrical Distributors, one of the UK’s largest independent electrical wholesalers.
E
lectrical wholesalers sit at the centre of the UK’s growing EV charging market. For installers, the local trade counter is oſten the first place they turn for advice, stock availability and reassurance on product reliability.
That makes charger selection about far more than price alone. It’s about recommending products that are easy to install, commercially attractive and, crucially, reliable enough to protect customer relationships. That’s exactly why VCHRGD has become a growing EV charging partner for Medlocks Electrical Distributors, one of the UK’s largest independent electrical wholesalers. With 54 branches nationwide and longstanding relationships across the electrical trade, Medlocks needed an EV charging manufacturer capable of supporting branch
confidence as much as installer demand. Since the launch of VCHRGD’s smart tariff integrations, including compatibility with So Energy and Intelligent Octopus Go, VCHRGD sales through Medlocks have grown by around 150% in early 2026, reaching record monthly revenues. For Medlocks, VCHRGD’s proposition combined competitive trade pricing with strong product quality, responsive UK-based support and installer-friendly design. In a market where wholesalers can often end up dealing with the fallout from unreliable hardware, reliability matters.
Equally important for Medlocks was ease of doing business. Reliable supply, straightforward ordering and clear commercial structures have helped branch teams recommend the product with confidence.
