Q&A: Elliott Rothon, UK marketing manager, WISKA.
In your opinion, what does the EW Awards bring to the industry?
The EW Awards play an important role in recognising the people, projects and innovations that are driving the electrical industry forward. They shine a light on the high standards, technical expertise and dedication that often go unseen day-to-day. Beyond recognition, they also bring the industry together—creating a space to share ideas, celebrate progress and inspire the next generation of electricians and engineers.
Why did you decide to sponsor the awards? At WISKA UK, we see ourselves as more than just a manufacturer—we’re part of the wider electrical community. Sponsoring the EW Awards is a natural extension of that. It allows us to support the industry that supports us, while aligning with the values we care about: quality, innovation and professionalism. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with the people who are actually using our products on site every day.
What are you looking forward to on the day?

The awards also play a part in helping to build relationships between manufacturers, wholesalers and installers.
Why did you decide to sponsor the awards? We love the EW Awards because they recognise achievements by wholesaler branches of all sizes, alongside individual talent and creativity, plus of course the brands and products that are central to the industry. Being involved with the awards is therefore a great opportunity for us to raise our profi le and give a little back to our customers and partners.
