elcome to the July issue of Electrical Wholesaler. We’ve got another great issue

I’m also delighted to share some further info on the winners of the 2021 EW Awards, which due to COVID constraints were presented via a live-streamed virtual ceremony this year. Schneider Electric discusses the importance of adapting to new technology in a constantly evolving electrical landscape. Those electricians that are able to understand and successfully implement new products and technology will reap the benefits - and the wholesalers who are able to supply and advise them play a vital role (page 10). Elsewhere in the issue, ESP’s Neil Baldwin takes
a look at the Fire Safety Bill, which has recently passed through the parliamentary process to
become law, and discusses its impact on fire protection products (page 27). On page 24, Bureau Veritas’s Michael Kenyon explains the concept of Prosumers Electrical Installations (PEI) and how energy efficiency ‘prosumer’ initiatives can help companies both meet their environmental obligations and make significant cost savings.
