New faces for 2022 - as well as a few familiar ones. Take a look below for the latest appointments in the sector.


has appointed Jon Chamberlain as managing director (Designate) from 1 January 2022, with full responsibility commencing from 9th June 2022. The move follows Paul Mitchell’s phased retirement from the leading cable management manufacturer. Read the full announcement on page 4.

Marshall-Tufflex has also welcomed Martin Russell as its new group product manager, responsible for driving new product development as the business continues to strengthen its portfolio of high-quality cable management solutions.

SP has made two new appointments within


its sales team. Gary Sealey (R) is the new area sales manager for the South West region, taking up his new position following more than seven years in the role of regional sales manager in the electrical sector. His previous experience includes a lighting wholesaler, as well as a supplier of electrical power distribution solutions for industrial, commercial, and domestic settings.


Adam Chalkley (L) has made the move from Scolmore Group company, Unicrimp, to take up the position of area sales manager for the North West region, bringing with him 10 years’ experience in the electrical industry - starting out in a sales role with a leading wholesaler and moving up the career ladder with roles with a number of key lighting and electrical accessories manufacturers.

oreflex, part of Atkore Inc., has appointed Adrian Jacks as electrical wholesale


representative for its Northern region. In the newly created role, Adrian will assist electrical wholesalers and contractors in the North of England and Scotland with the specification of flexible conduit from the Koreflex range, which is designed to make it simpler and quicker to select the appropriate system for a wide range of electrical applications in building services and industrial installations.


n a move designed to facilitate the future growth plans of the business, Scolmore has announced a number of new board appointments that have been made from within the existing team of directors.

There are two new appointments to the Scolmore board of directors, with group commercial director, Jim Hutchison, and sales director for Scotland and Northern Ireland, Barry Taylor, assuming the new board positions. Jim Hutchison joined the Scolmore Group as commercial manager in 2019 before being promoted to group commercial director in 2021. He has more than 30 years’ industry experience and a wealth of knowledge and expertise Barry Taylor has been with the business for over 10 years, having joined as regional sales manager in 2011, before being promoted to national sales manager in 2015 and to sales director – Scotland & Northern Ireland in 2019.


Mike Jackson, current sales director for Unicrimp, has been appointed to the Unicrimp board, having worked in the industry for more than 31 years in a variety of sales roles, as well as time spent as head of sales for NICEIC.


Kevin Beech, existing board member and current sales director for Scolmore has been promoted to group sales director. He has more than 35 years’ experience in the industry, working with a number of high profile manufacturing and wholesale companies.

DEAL Industries, a global leader in electrical accessories, tools


and equipment, has promoted Mike Cullomto the role of UK sales manager. Mike has worked as a sales manager for IDEAL Industries for nearly three years, with responsibility for the Northern region. As national sales manager, his new remit will build on his knowledge of the company’s wide-ranging product portfolio and the electrical market to include responsibility for the company’s sales across the UK, supporting the business’ ambitious growth plans.


IDEAL Industries has also appointed Lammert-Jan (LJ) Sinkgraven as regional account manager for central Europe as part of the company’s ambitious growth strategy for the EMEA region, based out of IDEAL Industries’ new German office near Stuttgart.
