Cover Story – the next generation Univolt

Univolt continues to deliver unrivalled levels of customer service, whilst simultaneously offering a comprehensive, quality cable management range.

A

ccessing and sourcing products and materials from a global network of

internal manufacturing resources, as well as via external partners, the continued roll out of the next generation Univolt is gathering pace for the UK market. Here, David Mattin, Univolt managing director, shares further details. At Univolt, our ultimate goal is to deliver in line with our customers’ expectations and needs. Key to this is the strengthening, refining and fine tuning of our product range. This year has seen Univolt launch several new products and accessories that are considered ‘next generation’: they are future proof, innovative and fully compliant with the needs of the modern-day electrical contractor. We are incredibly fortunate in the resources we

are able to access, not only through our global network of partners and suppliers, but through our own in-house manufacturing resources across Asia and Europe. Being part of a global manufacturing giant enables us to develop

and create quality products and accessories to the highest standard, seamlessly turning development into production and arriving at Univolt UK in rapid time. The company introduced various new

products onto the market during the first half of 2025, adding weight to and complementing our existing range whilst reinforcing our position as a one-stop supplier of cable management solutions. These products have been designed to enhance, simplify and speed up the installation process, feeding directly into the everyday needs of our customers. This roll out will continue throughout the year, as we build further on an already expansive range.

“We recognise the value of the catalogue for our customers, our wholesaler partners and also our own sales team, providing a common shared document that offers a critical central frame of reference.”

Introducing our new-look catalogue Accessing, understanding and identifying relevant products is critical, and we are soon to launch our new catalogue. This presents a significant shift in direction for Univolt in terms of marketing assets, creating a far more accessible and simple to use catalogue with a fresh look and feel. This bold move is reflective of our wider next generation’ drive, and our new identity will be rolled out across all other marketing platforms during the remainder of 2025 and beyond. We recognise the value of the catalogue for our customers, our wholesaler partners and indeed, our own sales team, providing a common shared document that offers a critical central frame of reference. Indeed, our new-look catalogue will equip our sales force with a fantastic marketing tool; signposting, steering and directing customers across our product range with ease. Our sales team is growing and we have an exceptional group of area sales managers in place, led by experienced management and a dynamic head of sales, whose shared passion for the business is evident. This year Pete Dellow joined us as commercial manager, and in recent weeks we have welcomed new area sales manager Nina Lister. These recent appointments ensure we are able to provide full UK coverage whilst bringing
