IN-BOX Transparent-Lid enclosures now in PC – 16 sizes
OKW has further expanded its range of IN-BOX industrial electronic enclosures. The transparent-lid version is now available in polycarbonate (PC) for extra strength and flammability resistance.
These popular and tough plastic enclosures for terminal installations suit a wide range of applications including digital and analogue instrumentation, sensors, interfaces, security systems, HVAC, machine building, construction equipment, Smart Factory and Industry 4.0. IN-BOX offers high levels of impact resistance (IK07/08) and ingress protection (IP 66/67); the sealing gasket is pre-foamed in the top. Quarter-turn stainless steel lid screws speed up installation and maintenance. The enclosures can be mounted on a wall, either directly or with brackets (accessory) for external installations. Specifying TECHNOMET 19” rack enclosures in custom
sizes up to 16U METCASE TECHNOMET 19” desktop mini-racks are now available in custom heights and depths to suit the customer’s rack mounted equipment.
These advanced mini-racks are designed for mounting standard 19” subracks, chassis and front panels. Applications include test and measurement, networking, communications, sound and studio systems, laboratory instruments, industrial computers and control systems. Elegant TECHNOMET 19” is normally available in four standard sizes: 3U, 4U, 5U and 6U. But METCASE can now manufacture the mini-racks in custom heights and depths (based on the standard 539 mm width). Recent orders have included TECHNOMET 19” in a height of 16U. METCASE added additional aluminium strengthening brackets due to the significant extra height of these units. The rack mounting brackets were manufactured from steel rather than the standard aluminium to enhance the rigidity still further. It is a testament to the versatility of the design that a unit over 2.5 times the height of the largest standard size could be easily produced.
