he highly successful Electronics Industry Awards is back for 2020 and will be accepting entries from Wednesday 6th December 2019.
Display Product of the Year – This award will be given to the company with the most outstanding display product demonstrating innovation and originality and should differ from other products on the market. Enclosure Product of the Year – This award will recognise an enclosure product that stands out in its field for originality, innovation and technical abilities.
The premier industry event of its kind, the Electronics Industry Awards recognises outstanding people, products, and business practices in the electronics sector. Now in its third year, the awards event will take the format of a delicious evening dinner followed by the awards presentation at the glorious Tower Hotel in London on Thursday 24th September 2020.
HOW TO APPLY
Submitting a nomination for the awards couldn’t be easier, and it’s completely free. Once the entries open for submission on December 6th, you can use our fuss-free online application form via the website, making it super quick and easy to shine a spotlight on those who most deserve it.
Engineering Development/Design Tool of the Year – This award will acknowledge a design tool, application or software IP that shows advanced technical abilities and innovation. It should be a useful tool which improves performance and designs. Interconnection Product of the Year – This award will go to the company with the most outstanding interconnection product that demonstrates durability, innovation and differs from other connectors on the market. Internet of Things Product of the Year – This will be awarded to the best product that provides true innovation in the Internet of Things. It should be a product that is different from anything else on the Internet of Things market. Power Product of the Year – This award will recognise the most innovative power product that has demonstrated outstanding performance on the market in terms of its technical abilities, its impact on the market and what makes it different from other power products. Test, Measurement & Inspection Product of the Year – This award will recognise a test, measurement and inspection product that has made a significant impact on the market. Products should demonstrate outstanding performance and innovation.
Unlike any other event of its kind, the 2020 scheme will continue to offer the industry the chance to have their say in the Product and Individual categories, where the online votes will be combined with a score from a panel of expert judges. Where with the Business accolades, the winners will be solely decided by the online voting process. The power is truly in your hands.
CATEGORIES There are so many opportunities to showcase the achievements of the electronics industry with the plethora of awards now up for grabs. We’ve got three main sections: Business, Product and Individual awards, all ready and waiting to be claimed.
PRODUCT AWARDS Aerospace/Military/Defence Product of the Year – This award recognises the most innovative product in the aerospace/military/defence industry showing outstanding performance and technical abilities. Automotive Product of the Year – This award will recognise a product in the automotive market that shows innovation and demonstrates technical capabilities and usefulness that stands out from other automotive products.

Excellence in Innovation – This award will recognise a company that has shown innovation that has made a significant impact within its market. Environmental Leadership – Honouring sustainability, environmental achievement and leadership within the electronics industry. Best Customer Service – This award will recognise a company that goes above and beyond for their customers. Academic Support – This award will recognise a company that is working with young people in education to encourage them into an engineering career. This can include going into schools and having apprenticeship schemes. Most Outstanding PR Agency – This award will be given to the PR Agency that goes above and beyond for their clients, helping companies to promote themselves in the right way in the electronics industry.
INDIVIDUAL AWARD Industry Personality – This award will recognise an individual working within the Electronics industry who has made a significant contribution to the industry, raising the profile of the industry, improving the supply chain, boosting their company and working closely with their customers and suppliers.
