liff Electronics offers manufacturers their industry standard ¼” S1VS series of compact vertical PCB mounting jack sockets with a range of switching contacts. The high quality ¼ (6.35mm) jack sockets feature a threaded metal “nose” for rugged through-panel mounting, secure connection of locking plugs and grounding to system chassis, have a durable nylon body for superior performance and are supplied with mounting hardware unassembled.


Four versions of these tip-ring- sleeve (TRS) jack sockets are available offering different switching options; Stereo models FM6700 with normally closed contacts for tip and ring, FM6701 with closed contact at tip only, FM7603 with no switching and mono version FM6704 with a normally closed contact at the tip. Industry’s smallest bus switches save board space

iodes Incorporated announced that its family of quad- and dual-channel 4:1 and 2:1 bus


switches are now available in an ultra-thin QFN (UQFN) package. The UQFN package makes it easier for OEMs to increase PCB density and reduce product dimensions when developing PC notebooks and tablets as well as networking and telecommunications equipment. Discrete logic devices, such as bus multiplexers and demultiplexers, remain a critical element of embedded design. The UQFN package measures just 3mm × 3mm × 0.65mm high, which is significantly smaller than comparable devices in standard packages. This smaller size allows the bus switches to be added to almost any design, even those with a high level of component density. Each channel in the bus switches can multiplex/demultiplex a single output from between two or four inputs. While the path for all channels is selected through common inputs, the channels benefit from a dedicated active-low enable control, allowing each channel to be operated independently. All devices offer tri-state operation, presenting high-impedance outputs when the enable pin is held high. The UQFN package used by the devices includes a thermal pad for more efficient heat dissipation. In addition, all of the

Just ½” in size, the MR50 offers up to 16 switch positions, switching torques of


up to 6 Ncm, and operates either in shorting or non-shorting modes. With gold-plated contacts (3-micron gold), the switch offers protection up to IP68 and performs in operating temperature ranges from -45 °C to +85 °C.

The CMT-TIT0697 Gate Driver board has been designed to be directly mounted on CAB450M12XM3 1200V/450A SiC MOSFET Power Modules. With an on-board isolated power supply delivering up to 2.5W per channel without derating up to 125°C (Ta), the gate driver can drive XM3 modules up to 100KHz, enabling high power density. Peak gate current up to 10A and immunity to high dV/dt (>50KV/µs) make possible to drive the


power module with zero gate resistance achieving minimum switching losses. The board withstands isolation voltages up to 3600V (50Hz, 1min) and offers creepage distances of 14mm. Protection functions such as undervoltage lockout (UVLO), Active Miller Clamping (AMC), Desaturation detection and Soft-shut- down (SSD) ensure the safe drive and reliable protection of the power module in case of fault events.
