JDS: Vicor power modules are small and power dense. Their high effi ciency and the thermally-adept packing of these devices provided a clear advantage. They enable us to leverage high voltage power and easily convert down to a variety of load very effi ciently. Additionally, the Vicor customer support and technical electrical engineering assistance was very helpful.
CIE: Your systems operate across multiple voltage levels (800V, 48V, 24V, 110/240/480V AC). What is your internal distribution architecture, and are you considering a standardized HVDC bus to further optimize effi ciency and cabling? JDS: Our 800V DC bus is primarily kept close to the battery and only energizes the charging infrastructure and inverter systems through BMS control and high-voltage DC contactors. We use a standardized low-voltage DC bus operating at 48V, 24V, 12V, and 5V, supplied through Vicor modules. On the AC side, we start at 480V and step down via large transformers to 208V 3-phase, 240V split-phase, and 120V single-phase.

anywhere that requires high-reliability off-grid power. Our Mules and CanaVans can replace or supplement 150–500 kW diesel units for tower cranes, buck hoists and disaster-relief microgrids. Because ReVolt systems are data-driven and fl eet- managed, they’re ideal for rental partners
and fl eet operators seeking clean power that can be remotely deployed, recharged, and monitored. These markets multiply the climate impact while accelerating the transition away from fossil-fuel-based power.
