The Electronics Industry Awards 2019
WELCOME
The electronics industry is a fast paced and highly technical sector, with new products being launched and disruptive technologies constantly creating fresh avenues for growth. In the stunning setting of London’s Tower Hotel, the 2019 Electronics Industry Awards crowned our sector’s leading products, companies and professionals as champions in front of an audience of esteemed professionals.
These awards were a well-deserved opportunity to celebrate your hard work and total dedication to the electronics sphere and note the people and products in particular who have stood out with their successes. The event was launched in order to offer a platform to showcase the talents and technical
prowess of you all. Since its launch in 2018, the awards have skyrocketed with interest and we had a huge increase in the number of nominations and entries this time round, as well as a record number of votes.
We wanted the awards to truly reflect the sector, and for a win to be a real authentic plus for the winner. We asked your opinion, and we took on your feedback, especially when it came to judging the awards. Of course, we wanted to keep the majority of the power in your hands, and the public vote was vital to maintaining the connection and credibility. But we also wanted to offer a greater in-depth level of judging, which is why some of you offered your services to be on the very first industry
expert judging panel, to judge the Product and Individual Awards. Let me take a moment to thank our esteemed judges: Adam Fletcher, Aubrey Dunford and Steve Brambley.
It’s an honour to be able to offer a transparent awards scheme that is designed for you, and decided by you, and of course we could not have done any of this without the continued support of our incredible sponsors.
