PRODUCTS IOT & WIRELESS DEVICES CEVA CERTIFIED BY WI-FI ALLIANCE C
EVA, Inc.’s RivieraWaves Wi-Fi 6 IP platform has achieved Wi-
Fi Certified 6 Status from the Wi-Fi Alliance. The company’s Wi-Fi 6 IPs have already been licensed to multiple semiconductor companies and OEMs for upcoming products. The Wi-Fi Certified 6
certification is designed to distinguish Wi-Fi 6 products and networks that meet the highest
standards for security and interoperability to deliver exceptional end user experiences and wireless stability. Wi-Fi Certified 6 products provide significant capacity, performance and latency improvements to the entire Wi-Fi ecosystem, while ensuring that solutions from multiple vendors interoperate to help enable greater innovation. The RivieraWaves Wi-Fi IP family
offers a comprehensive suite of IPs and platforms for embedding Wi-Fi connectivity into SoCs/ASSPs addressing a broad range of applications. The RivieraWaves Wi- Fi 6 IPs are aimed at the vast array of media-sharing consumer devices including smartphones, tablets,
cameras and smart home products. These are the industry’s smallest
footprint and lowest power but high performance Wi-Fi IPs compliant with Wi-Fi 6 1x1 & 2x2. They consist of Wi-Fi 6 MAC and Modem, available in both 1x1 SISO and 2x2 MIMO configurations. They are provided with LMAC (aka thinMAC) for use with linux/Android mac80211 UMAC, LMAC+UMAC (aka FullMAC) and LMAC+UMAC integrated into FreeRTOS (aka FullyHosted) software protocol stacks. They are provided with an integration-ready processor and operating-system- agnostic platform, simplifying deployment in SoC/ASSP designs.

IIOT SOLUTION FOR MINING RISK ASSESSMENT
Sensemetrics Inc. has launched a tailored IIoT solution that gives mining companies real-time, end-to-end Tailings Storage Facilities (TSF) insights. The solution provides real- time information and analytics for continuous and complete surveillance across TSF construction, operation, and closure phases. New tailored features include a
SEMTECH AND HELIUM EXPAND LORAWAN NETWORK DEPLOYMENTS
Semtech Corporation is expanding its collaboration with Helium, the company behind one the world’s first peer- to-peer wireless networks based on Semtech’s LoRa devices and the LoRaWAN protocol. Helium’s LoRaWAN network infrastructure is considered among the fastest growing of its kind, reaching more than 1,000 cities in North America and expanding to Europe. Earlier this year, Helium announced a strategic partnership with Semtech to integrate the LoRaWAN protocol into its LongFi networking architecture. Helium's network is powered by the Helium
Hotspot, a device enabling end consumers to own and operate a LoRa-based wireless network for the Internet of Things (IoT). When connected to a nearby Hotspot, devices simultaneously mine cryptocurrency and provide LoRaWAN network coverage for hundreds of square miles. Combining Semtech’s LoRa devices with Helium’s distributed, open-sourced approach to building a ubiquitous network allows the simplified deployment of applications across North America and Europe. In less than six months following Semtech and Helium’s initial collaboration, more than 10,000 Helium Hotspots have been sold.

remote sensing module, which provides a dashboard display of TSF performance. This is powered by spatially dense datasets from ground and satellite-based systems – giving insurers deep insights into full risk assessment parameters. A secure Application Programming
Interface (API) provides a unified interface for exchange of real-time and historical sensor data between the sensemetrics platform and in-house data analytics engines maintained by insurers, facilitating continuous and transparent information flow between all organisations involved in risk mitigation. Native iOS and Android mobile apps
further optimise field activities, unified data aggregation and visibility of TSF performance, which is key to managing operational risk.

OnLogic has introduced its innovative rugged industrial computer, the Karbon Series, to the German market. The Karbon Series is shock & vibration resistant, has a wide operating temperature, high configurability and custom I/O options. The OnLogic Karbon Series includes the small form factor Karbon 300 and the GPU capable Karbon 700. Michael Kleiner, VP of engineering at OnLogic is the German Engineer
who led the development effort for these new systems. “The Karbon series was created by pushing the limits of what a rugged computer could be," says Kleiner. "Our systems were designed to solve even the most complex challenges of users by creating a modular platform that ensured flexibility and versatility without sacrificing reliability or making the cost of the systems too high.” Where other computers fail, the Karbon Series has been designed to
thrive. Considering that every IoT project is completely unique, the Karbon systems are highly configurable. Not only does Karbon bring rugged industrial computing in a feature-rich form factor, it also does this locally, in Europe. The Karbon Series is built in and shipped from the Netherlands, ensuring a fast delivery and assembly within the European market.

HIGHLY CONFIGURABLE KARBON SERIES RUGGED COMPUTERS RELEASED FOR IOT PROJECTS European factories, machine builders, rail and public transport,
autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence applications increasingly require powerful computing solutions to power their latest innovations. European companies have already begun working on projects using Karbon for in-vehicle, automation and data processing applications. Built to withstand 50G of impact force and 500Hz of vibration, this
solution brings rugged industrial computing in a small form factor. Not only does it benefit from a wide operating temperature range of -25°C ~ 70°C, it also features modular customisation options which allow users to push rugged industrial IoT projects even further. With a height of 5.6cm, the system can be installed wherever it's needed. For situations where more power is needed in a rugged Industrial form
factor, the Karbon 700 has the same core capabilities of the Karbon 300 and adds more features and stronger processing, with up to Intel i7 and Intel Xeon CPUs. The Karbon 700-SE has room for I/O Expansion and offers a PCIe slot to add mini ITX GPUs. When even more power is needed, the Karbon 700-X2 can be configured with full height GPUs.
