Supplied in a small 1.6 x 2.9 mm 5-SOT23 package with 256-bit security register—or in Wafer Level Chip Scale Packaging (WLCSP)—new capabilities added to these 1 to 8 Kbit serial EEPROMs include a 128-bit serial number, 16 bytes of lockable space and software write protect.
