CUI Devices launches new circular connectors product line

Cliff 4mm shrouded panel sockets C C

UI Devices’ latest CDM12 family offers a range of male or

female versions with contact position options of 3, 4, 5, 8, and 12 pins. As A-coded devices that support 1Gbit Ethernet, all M12 connector models carry IP67 ratings to deal with harsh environments found in industrial and factory automation applications. These panel mount circular

connectors feature PC pin, solder terminal, and wire lead terminations, threaded front or rear fastening types, and thread pitches of M12 x 1.0, M16 x 1.5, and PG9. Available voltage ratings include 30, 60, and 250 Vac as well as current ratings of 1.5, 2, and 4A. These circular connector models further carry an operating temperature range from -25 to 80°C. CUI Devices’ CDM12 series

are available immediately. Possible applications include: Industrial and factory

automation. www.cuidevices.com

liff Electronics’ PCB mount

4mm shrouded sockets are mateable with both safety shrouded and unshrouded plugs. The right- angled design reduces strain

between the PCB and the lead, increasing reliability and product life.

The range of 4mm test sockets are designed

for mating with industry standard 4mm plugs and are available in black, red, green, blue, brown and yellow. Contacts are gold plated socket and rated at 1000V, 24A, CAT III. Cliff Electronics can supply jack sockets, DC

power connectors, terminal binding posts, test connectors and leads, optical jacks and leads and waterproof connectors and are specialists in the design and manufacture of standard and FeedThrough connectors which mount into an

industry standard XLR, 23mm cutout. www.cliffuk.co.uk

olex 400G ZR QSFP-DD pluggable coherent optical transceivers for advanced Data Center Interconnect (DCI) solutions are designed to deliver optimised data

transmission rates with low power consumption. The rapid rise in work-from-home and distance learning has

created unprecedented bandwidth requirements, which also are impacted by major adoption of streaming video, social networking and applications leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing. As a result, data center operators are seeking high-density, low-latency and low-power Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) links to connect multiple data centers. With Molex’s 400G ZR QSFP-DD coherent optical transceivers, operators can connect data centers within a region, enabling them to function as a single data center without the need for a separate transport box. Designed in compliance with the Optical Internetworking

Forum (OIF) 400G ZR standard, Molex’s 400G ZR is among the first standards-based, pluggable coherent optical modules to be commercially available in volume. In addition, the 400G OpenZR+, which is slated for availability in Q2, extends reach from 120km to about 600km at low power consumption to enable 12.8T in 1RU switch or router chassis. Molex also completed experimental verification of 400Gb/s

data transmission over DCI ZR distances in a 75GHz spaced DWDM link with amplification in an Open Line System (OLS). Using the 400G ZR QSFP-DD transceiver modules in conjunction with 75GHz OLS increases bandwidth capacity of optical fibers in a

DCI application and can decrease the cost per bit significantly. www.molex.com
