20kW BI-DIRECTIONAL DC POWER SUPPLIES

The Kikusui PXB series of 20kW DC bidirectional power supplies sit in a compact single 3U size frame and are ideal for defence, aerospace, avionics, EV, and renewable energy testing applications.

● The seamless transition between source and sink functions is ideal in EV battery testing where rapid charging and discharging is required.

● The programmable supply allows for sequencing, current and voltage control, pulse and sine wave functions, and a variable internal resistance.

● The PXB series is also used for inverter and motor evaluation testing, aging tests for bidirectional DC/DC convertors, standards testing for EMC, airborne equipment, high voltage components and more.

Specification

● Ultracompact: 20 kW in a single 3U size unit ● Maximum voltage: Supports high voltages of 1500 V ● Bidirectional output: Power and regeneration in a single unit! ● Largecapacity. Can be used for battery and inverter testing ● 100% full output whether AC input voltage is 200 V or 400 V ● Operating modes: CV (constant voltage)/CC (constant current)/ CP (constant power) ● Equipped with an intuitive touch panel for easy operation ● LAN, USB, RS232C, external analogue control (isolated type) standard ● External control I/O is standard for both NPN and PNP type PLCs ● As standard, a parallel connection is possible for up to 10 units (200 kW)
